Paul Rosenberg, a VP Technology in JP Morgan Chase's Investment Bank, served as a Village trustee from 2003 to 2004. During that time, he chaired the Coterminous Town/Village Committee, which investigated the merits of Rye Brook becoming an independent Town/Village. The committee made recommendations on how Rye Brook should enhance its relationship with the Town of Rye and whether seeking co-terminus status would save Rye Brook taxpayers money. Paul also played an integral role in helping to foster an agreement with the Arbors Homeowners Association, allowing the Village to purchase land needed for the King Street Athletic Field Complex.

After leaving office, Paul remained active in Village government, serving as a member of the Board's Vision Plan Implementation Task Force, which studied the benefits of granting final approval authority to the Planning Board, which will result in a more efficient Village government. Paul also served as President of the James Way Homeowners Association in Rye Brook.

Paul was re-elected as a Trustee in March 2005.
