RBT Nominates Candidates
For March 2010 Village Elections

Rye Brook Together, a local community action group, has nominated Toby Marrow and Jeffrey Rednick as its candidates for Village Trustees in the March 16, 2010 Village election. Marrow and Rednick will join Mayor Joan Feinstein on the Rye Brook Together ticket. They would fill the seats being vacated by current trustees Pat Sanders Romano and Dean Santon, who have chosen not to seek re-election.

Kenneth L. Berman, Rye Brook Together’s Chairman, said, “There were several excellent people who responded to our open call for trustee candidates. We are pleased to be able to nominate these outstanding individuals. Toby and Jeff have been active on many levels within our community and are well qualified to be Village Trustees.” Berman added, “We are grateful to outgoing Trustees Pat Romano and Dean Santon for their dedication and service, and we wish them well.”

Toby Marrow and her husband Ted have lived in the Arbors in Rye Brook for the past twenty-one years. She served six years on the Arbors Board of Directors, including two years as President. Marrow also served on the Village of Rye Brook Advisory Council for the development of the Rye Brook Athletic Field at King Street.

Marrow works full time in the finance area of a not-for-profit organization. She and her husband have two children, Nathan, 16 and Hannah, 10, attending the Blind Brook schools.

“For 21 years, my husband and I have been fortunate enough to live and raise our children in this exceptional community. Now, I feel it is my turn to give back to the community.” Ms. Marrow said. “I have practical experience in areas such as project management and finance, that will be valuable as a member of the Village Board. I believe that maintaining a balanced perspective, coupled with attention to detail, and the ability to listen to all sides, are valuable assets that I can contribute to the Board.”

Jeffrey Rednick was born and raised in Rye Brook. Rednick has broad municipal experience. He is currently a member of the Rye Brook Zoning Board of Appeals and has also served on the Village Traffic Commission. Rednick also lived for several years in Port Chester, where he was Chairman of the Village Planning Commission and served as the Village Prosecutor.

Rednick is an attorney. He and his wife Lois have two children David, 8 and Samantha, 5.

“I was born and brought up in Rye Brook, am a product of it's school system and returned here after law school to raise my family because I believe it's a great place to live, “ said Rednick. “I want to use my background to help keep it that way. I have municipal experience and I am also a local attorney who does some real estate law, land use and municipal law.”

Formed in 2004, Rye Brook Together is a non-political group of residents from all areas of our Village who believe in forward-thinking, fiscally responsible leadership that will build consensus and a sense of community throughout Rye Brook.
